HOW IT WORKS
The large number of very fine, highly conductive carbon bristles concentrate energy in the static charges until the surrounding air ionizes.
Ionized air is conductive and allows ions of the opposite polarity to neutralize the charges. The diagram demonstrates the material with a positive static charge, but the ARROW electrostatic dischargers work equally well with positive or negative charges.

The carbon fibers do not need to touch the material; their
powerful performance is just as effective even if they are 5-10 mm away from the electrified surface.
EFFICIENCY
ARROW electrostatic dischargers offer high performance.
The diagram demonstrates that the static neutralization power becomes effective and operative when the power level reaches 4 to 5 KV.
This is a very low level; walking on a synthetic carpet can
generate charges up to 15 KV. The charge generated when winding dry paper,
film or a coated material can reach or exceed 200 KV.

This tool was designed for use in general factory conditions: throughout production, quality control and for maintenance services. The stability of its electronics means that recalibration is not usually needed. We do offer a recalibration service with certification when required by quality control.
It is very important to use it to validate where and how the electrostatic is being generated, and to check if the antistatic-electrostatic discharge brushes are correctly installed.
Measurement range: 0 to 1000 KV for positive and negative polarities, in case of negative polarities the (-) sign appears on the LCD display.
Battery: PP3 9V for 500 hours of continuous use, or 2 years of occasional use.
Indication: BAT LOW appears on the display when the battery needs replacing.
